Moroccan-French rapper, Walid Georgey a.k.a Maes is one of the most recognizable figures in the underground scene of Paris, France. Growing up in the tiny Parisian suburb of Sevran, Maes was exposed to rap music and an early age and started rapping along with his friends at the age of 14. He announced himself to the world in 2018 with the release of Réelle vie 2.0 - an album that would turn the heads of some of the most biggest names in the world of rap. Two years later he released Les derniers salopards, which would go on achieve platinum status within a month.
