The South African football club, Free State Stars, was founded in 1977. It is based in the town of Bethlehem located in the Free State province and it plays its home games at the Goble Park. It has spent many years in the South African Premier Division and continues to be a competitor in the league. Winning the Mvela Golden League, Baymed Cup and Coca-Cola Cup are some of the highlights of the clubs illustrious past. Many brilliant players such as Bunene Ngaduane, Edward Salomane and Kennedy Mweene have played for this club in the past.
