Cape Town Spurs FC (formerly known as Ajax Cape Town) is a South African football club that is affiliated with AFC Ajax the Eredivisie club from the Netherlands. It was founded in 1999 and competes in the National First Division which is the second tier of football in South Africa. It has won honors such as MTN 8, Rothmans Cup, ABSA Cup and has also competed in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederations Cup. Based in Cape Town it uses the Cape Town Stadium as its home ground.
