João Bosco

About

João Bosco is a songwriter and guitarist from Ponte Nova, Brazil whose elan for music and its unmitigated styles have helped establish him as one of the more forward thinking Brazilian guitarists of his generation. Combining elements of traditional Brazilian bossa nova, African rhythms and Arab tonal melodies, Bosco managed to forge a unique sonic identity for himself that sounds unlike anyone else. Bosco released his debut album in 1972 and since then he has kept active, releasing music, touring--becoming a beloved and respected Brazilian natural treasure in the process.
