Adapted for the stage from English author Roald Dahl's seminal children's story, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tells the story of a boy from a financially-challenged family, who, through fortuitous circumstances, is able to tour a candy factory with the eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka. Throughout the tour, hilarity and poignant moments ensue, with Charlie and Willy Wonka establishing a special bond with one another by story's end.
