About
Ali Barter is a singer/songwriter from Melbourne, Australia who writes a distincitve style of guitar based alternative pop. Trained as a classical vocalist, Barter spent eight years singing with the Australian Girls Choir before releasing her debut EP, Trip, in 2012. Going on to win the 2013 Triple J Unearthed contest, which lead to her earning a performance slot at the St Jerone's Laneway Festival. Having since continued to release music and tour, in addition to sharing the stage with the War on Drugs and Vance Joy, Barter has distinguished herself as a force to be reckoned with on the modern Australian music scene.
