The Homesick

Homesick is a post-punk trio of Jaap van der Velde, Elias Elgersma and Erik Woudwijk. It was formed in Dokkum, a small village in the Netherlands. Dokkum is far from being considered a musically happening place, but this is exactly what affected the trio's creations and gave them an outsider’s perspective on rock music. It debuted with the LP Youth Hunt in 2017. The band’s songs are humorous and are far from the mainstream. They are best described as a collection of juxtaposed ideas that are worth listening to.
