Also known as “Gruzoviki” by its fans, KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny is a football club that participates in the Russian Professional Football League which is the third division of Russian football. Based in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, it features in the Ural-Privolzhye zone of the League and plays its home matches at the KAMAZ Stadium. Formed in 1981 as “Trud-PRZ”, it has also competed in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1996 and has been a constant presence in the top tiers of football in the country.
