Emily Capell is a singer-songwriter from North West London who is enamored by everything retro. Her music is a blend of blues and indie-pop and she plays them mostly using just her acoustic guitar. Capell writes songs which reflect the of the ups and downs of her life, she even draws inspiration from people who are close to her. She made her solo debut with the EP Who Killed Smiley Culture, which was appreciated for its sarcastic and witty lyrics and awarded her with many new fans.
