Os Belenenses

The C.F. Belenenses hail from Lisbon parish of Belem, hence the name. Established in 1919, the club is part of the Portuguese Primeira Liga. The team won the title in 1945-46, the first time a team outside of the "Big Three" had won the championship. Boavista won again in 2001. The Belenenses take the pitch at the Estádio do Restelo, an arena that holds approximately 20,000 fans right behind the famous Jeronimos Monastery.
