Based in Monterrey, Sultanes de Monterrey is a Triple-A Minor league baseball team which competes in the Northern Division of the Mexican Baseball League. It plays its home games at the Estadio de Béisbol Monterrey, which is also the largest baseball stadium in Mexico. Formerly known as "Carta Blanca" and also as the "Industriales," the team has won 10 championships since its foundation in 1939. Daniel Rios, Lázaro Salazar and Héctor Espino are a few notable players to have represented this team.
