A Triple-A MiLB member of the Mexican League, Acereros de Monclova is always a force to be reckoned with. Founded in 1974, the team has held both, the League Championship and the Division Championship in its lengthy history. Playing its home games at the Estadio de Béisbol Monclova (Monclova Stadium), it has been part of numerous nerve-racking games, with the 1986 regular season encounter with Sultanes de Monterrey being one of the most memorable games.
