Śląsk Wrocław, also known as WKS Śląsk Wrocław, is a football club that represents the city of Wrocław at the highest level of the national football league system – the Ekstraklasa. Since its formation in 1947, it has played under multiple names and adopted its current name in 1957. The club won its first major honor, the Polish Cup, in 1976 and has since added multiple Ekstraklasa and Polish SuperCup wins to its kitty. It plays its home matches at the Stadion Miejski.
