Izal is a Spanish alternative rock band from Madrid that was founded in 2010. Led by chief singer/songwriter Mikel Izal, the group's characteristic style of music blends catchy guitar riffs, dance-friendly rhythms and lyrics that oftentimes celebrate the quotidian elements of modern existence, Izal has managed to latch onto a unique sound that has helped it attract an ever growing fan base.
