Claire E. Cottrill, who is popularly known by her stage name Clairo, is an electronic artist who is a native of Atlanta. She has been a creator since an early age. As a teenager, she would post her songs and covers on online platforms. One of such songs was "Pretty Girl," an electronic track heavily inspired by the 80’s pop music. It blew-up on the internet and brought her immense popularity along with the attention of many record labels. She recreated the success of her hit track in 2018 when she debuted with her EP Diary 001. It received popular reviews from critics and fans alike. Clairo kept this momentum going with the release of Immunity in 2019. Her song from this album,”Bags," was named as one of the best songs of the decade by many major music critics. This along with other awards cemented Clairo as an established artist in the music industry.
