Before debuting with his eponymous album in 2017, Colter Wall released an EP in collaboration with other artists from his hometown Regina, SK in Canada. He describes his sound as a fusion of Americana and blues. Wall's music has been featured in TV shows like Dog the Bounty Hunter, as well as films like Hell or High Water, Sleeping on the Blacktop and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. He names his personal experiences as the inspiration for his songs.
