About
Sarnia Sting is an ice hockey team that is one of the members of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). It competes in the Western Conference of the League and uses the Progressive Auto Sales Arena for its home games. Formed in 1994, it has featured former NHL players such as Jamie Arniel, Steven Stamkos and Dan Fritsche in its roster. The club was awarded the Bumbacco Trophy when it won the West Division of the OHL in 2003-04 and is yet to win the other top honors of the OHL such as the J. Ross Robertson Cup and the Memorial Cup.
