One of the most decorated teams in the Ontario Hockey League, Peterborough Petes is credited with some of the most impressive records of the league. Founded in 1957, it is not only one of the oldest but also one of the most dominant forces on the league. Winners of several championships, including Memorial Cup, Hamilton Spectator Trophy and J. Ross Robertson Cup, this team rubs shoulders with some of the best of the sport. The team has also been a breeding ground for talent and has constantly been producing world class players. It has also been the first stage in the careers of a number of hall of fame inductees, including Wayne Gretzky, Steve Yzerman and Chris Pronger.
