Based in Fayetteville, NC, Fayetteville Marksmen is an ice hockey team that plays its home matches at the Crown Coliseum. Founded in 2002, the minor league team was first known as Cape Fear FireAntz and entered the sport via the Atlantic Coast Hockey League. The Marksmen is one of the teams that formed the South East Hockey League and later the Southern Professional Hockey League.
