Le Petit-Maître Corrigé is a three-act comedy written by Pierre de Mariveaux and first performed in Paris in 1734. Written exclusively for the Comedie-Francaise, Mariveaux's comedy was only performed twice due to poor reception. Amazingly, more than three hundred years later, Le Petit-Maître Corrigé, has been resurrected for a 21st Century audience who appreciates the work's charming wit and feminist themes.
