Based in the city of Nicosia in Cyprus is APOEL FC- one of the most powerful football clubs in the country. It has been a dominating force in major competitions for many decades and has amassed multiple Cypriot Championship titles, Cypriot Cups and Cypriot Super Cups. It has also proved its mettle at the UEFA games numerous times. The club began its journey in the game in 1926 and is currently one of the competitors in the Cypriot First Division. It holds its home games at the GSP Stadium.
