FK Partizani was formed at the end of the second world war. The first two decades were the club's golden years. The Albanian team has won the country's top league several times in its history. The team has also competed in international championships like UEFA European Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup, UEFA Champions League among many others. The club competes in Kategoria Superiore and plays its home matches at Selman Stërmasi Stadium.
