Hønefoss Ballklubb is a football club based in the town of Hønefoss in Norway. It was founded in 1895 as the football branch of the sports club, IF Liv. It parted from the sports club in 2002. One of the golden periods of its history began in 2009 when it first became a part of the Tippeligaen, which is the top-tier football competition of the country. But its run in the league lasted for only two years. It is now one of the competitors in the 3. Divisjon. The club uses the Aka Arena for its home matches.
