Police Service of Northern Ireland Football Club, which is popularly known as PSNI, is one of the competitors in the NIFL Championship. This semi-professional club was founded in 1928 and it debuted in the Northern Amateur Football League in 1956. In 1975, the club made its way into the Irish League B Division for the first time. The 1986–87 season of this league will forever be remembered by fans of PSNI for the club's amazing performances which eventually led to it becoming champions.
