Hildesheim Invaders is an American football club that represents the city of Hildesheim in the German Football League (GFL). The club was founded in 1983 and competes in the North Division of the GFL. The Invaders have a complex history in the league and had spent very few seasons in the GFL until 2016 when they regained promotion to the topmost tier of American football in Germany. A mainstay in the league since then, the club plays its home games at the Eintracht Homefield.
