AS Monaco Basket is a basketball team from Monaco that competes in the LNB Pro A which is the highest level of professional basketball in France. It was formed in 1928 and is a force to be reckoned with. It has won laurels such as the Pro A Leaders Cup, Pro B, Nationale Masculine 1 and has also been a runner-up in the LNB Pro A in 2017-18 and the French Cup in 1982-83. It has also shown its might in European tournaments such as the Basketball Champions League where its highest finish was the runner-up spot in 2017-18. Its home games are played at the Salle Gaston Médecin where fans have witnessed many jaw-dropping contests. Reputed players such as Brandon Davies, Aaron Craft and J. J. O'Brien have featured in the club’s lineup.
