About
Sportclub Telstar is a football club which is one of the 20 clubs that play to win the glorious Eerste Divisie title. The club is based in the city of IJmuiden in the Netherlands and uses the Telstar Stadion to play its home games. It was formed in 1963 when the clubs, IJVV Stormvogels and VSV, decided to join forces and play as a single professional club. One of the major highlights of the club's history was winning the Tweede Divisie title.
