Skott, originally named Pauline Skött, was born on October 4, 1991, in Vikarbyn, Sweden. She is a gifted singer, songwriter, and producer recognized for her ethereal musical style. Her rise to international prominence began with her debut single "Porcelain" in 2016, which was included in the FIFA 17 soundtrack and garnered attention from notable artists such as Lorde and Katy Perry. Growing up in a folk music environment, Skott transitioned to popular music after relocating to Stockholm to pursue studies in composition. In 2018, she released her first EP, Stay Off My Mind, followed by her debut album, Always Live for Always, in 2020. Following her departure from Sony Music, she founded her own label, Dollar Menu. Her discography features numerous acclaimed singles and two studio albums, Always Live for Always and Roses N Guns (2023). Skott's music often mirrors her distinctive upbringing, establishing her as a prominent figure in the alternative pop genre.
