The Odd Couple is a comedic play written by Neil Simon. Centered around two roommates with opposing lifestyles--the tidy, mannered Felix and the sloppy, unhinged Oscar--The Odd Couple is regarded as one of Neil Simon's more cherished works. Premiering on Broadway in 1965, the play has received numerous revivals around the world, in addition to being adapted into a 1968 film starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.
