Great Expectations is a play based on the classic Charles Dickens novel of the same name. The story centers around the personal growth and development of an orphan named Pip and his transition from childhood to manhood. The first stage adaptation premiered in London in 1939 and since then the play has gone on to receive numerous revivals around the world.
