Young Dolph is a Chicago born and Memphis based rapper. In his music, he speaks about his rough upbringing. With parents who dealt with addiction and no proper authoritative figure, he had to fend for himself. Born Adolph Thornton, Jr., Young Dolph is a cousin of deceased rapper Juice Wrld. He had been rapping for quite some time but was not interested in doing so on a professional level. A near-death experience in 2008 motivated him to change his mind. King of Memphis, Bulletproof and Dum and Dummer are a few of his popular works. Trafivally, Young Dolph died in 2021 following a shooting in Tennessee.
