About
Founded in 1983, Club Santos Laguna is a professional football team that now competes in Liga MX, Mexico's premiere domestic league. The club, nicknamed Los Guerreros (The Warriors), has enjoyed enormous amounts of success and popularity throughout Mexico since it debuted with Liga MX in 1988, winning its first tournament championship in 1996. Santos Laguna hosts its home matches at Estadio Corona in Torreón, Coahuila.
