Yaquis de Obregón is a Mexican baseball team that competes in the Liga Mexicana del Pacífico. It was founded in 1970, but its roots go deep into 1947. Its performance in the league has been impressive. It won its first title in 1966 and started a legacy that has grown with six more titles up until 2013. The credit goes to the team's many notable players such as Vinicio Castilla, Francisco "Pancho" García and Roberto Vicarra. The team is based in Ciudad Obregón and uses the Estadio Yaquis for its home games.
