HC Lugano is a Swiss ice hockey club that features in the National League (NL). It is based in Lugano and hosts matches at the Cornèr Arena. Founded in 1941, it has won laurels such as the National League and the Swiss League. It has also reached the finals of the Spengler Cup on three occasions but is yet to win this prestigious trophy. Alfio Molina, Sandro Bertaggia and Petteri Nummelin are a few notable alumni.
