After the separation from FA Selangor, Kuala Lumpur FA was founded in 1975 and has since overlooked football related activities in the federal territory of Kuala Lumpur. Known fondly as “The City Boys”, the football club affiliated with the Kuala Lumpur FA has many accolades to its credit including the prestigious Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Cup, Malaysia FA Cup and have also featured in the AFC Champions League.
