Matthias Richter is widely recognized in the music industry by his stage name Tujamo. He is a distinguished German DJ and producer specializing in electro house music. Tujamo achieved significant success in 2014 with the release of "Boneless," a collaborative effort with Steve Aoki and Chris Lake, which garnered international acclaim. His popularity continued to rise with the single "Dr. Who!" featuring Plastik Funk and rapper Sneakbo, which reached #21 on the UK Singles Chart. Originating from Detmold in North Rhine-Westphalia, he began his DJ career at the age of 17 and secured a residency at Club Index after winning a talent competition in 2006. Tujamo has performed worldwide and produced notable tracks such as “Booty Bounce” and “Drop That Low (When I Dip)." His remixes for prominent artists like David Guetta and Major Lazer have further elevated his status. In 2019, he was recognized as Beatport's top-selling electro house artist and has consistently appeared in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list, achieving a peak position of #35 in 2022.
