One of the most successful and popular pieces of musical theater in Germany, Linie 1 takes its name from one of Berlin's subway lines. The story follows a young woman who is visiting Berlin to search for the father of her unborn child. She gets caught up in Berlin's notoriously chaotic public transport system ends up riding line 1, where she meets a colorful cast of characters.
