He commenced his formal music education in piano and percussion at an early age and subsequently traveled to Paris and New York to enhance his skills, collaborating with various jazz and salsa artists. Cabas achieved significant acclaim with his debut album, released in 2000, which included the hit "Mi Bombón," a song that dominated the charts throughout Latin America. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Shakira and Miguel Bosé and has received numerous award nominations, including several Latin Grammy nominations.
