Dave East is a Spanish Harlem rapper who had basketball dreams at any early age but due to legal trouble and getting kicked out of college he found love with music. East has an old school New York flow like a Big L or Notorious B.I.G. He takes the rap game as if it was a sport and puts his all into his music. In 2014 he got signed to Nas' label Mass Appeal Records. In 2015 East caught a big buzz with his mixtape Hate Me Now which was hosted by DJ Drama.
