Britta Phillips is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who initially rose to prominence in the 1990s as a member of the alternative pop group Luna. Having since composed original scores for the films Mistress America and The Squid and the Whale with her fellow Luna bandmate and former Galaxie 500 member Dean Wareham, Phillips would go on to release her debut album, Luck or Magic, in 2016.
