Modena Football Club is a soccer team based out of Modena, Italy that was founded in 1912. Having spent the majority of its existence playing in the second highest division of Italian soccer, Serie B, the team played for a two year period from 2002 to 2004 in Serie A, but was demoted after it failed to perform well enough. The team had a period of excellence during the 1980s, when it won the prestigious Anglo-Italian Cup twice, in 1981 and 1982.
