With the seemingly non-stop onslaught of nuvo heavy metal bands emerging from Germany, it's quite refreshing to come across an act that's not afraid to totally indulge itself in classic metal sensibilities. With ridiculously fast guitar galloping and tom blasting beats set to lyrical stories of epic proportion, the group (whose name translated in English means The Apocalyptic Horsemen) is a stalwart act for German metal heads. The band was formed in 1995 and the group has dabbled in thrash metal, as well as death metal, to create a reputation for itself as one of the more prominent hard rock acts of its day.
