Edguy is a power metal band from Germany that prides itself on the harrowing power of rock. With soaring Iron Maiden-style vocals and intense double bass work, combined with wailing guitar shredding, Edguy has managed to latch onto a distinct sound that has risen the group to prominence amongst a dedicated group of fans. The band has been making music since 1992, but the group's throwback tone sounds like it belongs amongst the early 1980s metal scene.
