La iaia is a an indie folk project from Catalonia. Formed by Ernest Crusats and Jordi Casadesus, the band released the LP Les ratlles del banyador in 2011 and On és la màgia?, in 2014, both on Global Music. The records capture its signature spanish-flavored brand of alternative, often acoustic songs.
