About
Sweet Spirit is a rock band from Austin, TX that was originally the solo project of singer/songwriter Sabrina Ellis. She turned to Sweet Spirit as a respite from the emotional turmoil of a failing marriage with her husband and songwriting partner. Taking on a life of its own, the project evolved into a nine-piece band and released an eponymous debut EP in 2014. The record earned the band a coveted spot at the 2015 South By Southwest festival and much acclaim in the crowded music scene of Austin.
