Pallacanestro Cantù is one of seventeen Italian basketball clubs that compete in the Lega Basket Serie A. It was founded in 1936, in Cantù as Associazione Pallacanestro Cantù and it donned its current name in 1948. Its career is decorated with many major achievements like winning the Italian League title, Italian Cup and Italian Supercup multiple times. The club has also dominated the many major European competitions like the EuroLeague and FIBA Saporta Cup. But its biggest achievement of all was winning the FIBA Intercontinental Cup.
