Olimpia Milano is an Italian basketball team that represents the city of Milan in both, the Lega Basket Serie A and the EuroLeague. It was established in 1947 following the dissolution of its predecessor, Dopolavoro Borletti, and is one of the most successful basketball clubs in the country. Its laurels include multiple domestic as well as international wins such as the EuroLeague title. Throughout its career, it has also gone head to head against NBA teams including New York Knicks and Boston Celtics. It has also honed talents such as Cesare Rubini, Vittorio Ferracini, Franco Boselli, Riccardo Pittis and Antonello Riva, among others. The club plays its home games at the Mediolanum Forum.
