The Gin Game is a stage production that follows Weller Martin and Fonsia Dorsey, two patients who meet on the porch of their nursing home. They form a friendship as Weller teaches Fonsia how to play Gin Rummy. They share stories of their lives, Fonsia begins to win every round, agitating Martin. They become increasingly competitive as they confess and expose their failures and insecurities.
