Jason McDermott is a British-Jamaican artist recognized as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, celebrated for his popular tracks such as "My Yout," "Call Mi a Leader," and "Soundbwoy," the latter of which achieved a peak position of number 18 on the UK Singles Chart. At the age of 15, following the unfortunate murder of his father, reggae musician Poison Chang, Stylo G's family relocated to London. Once in the UK, he established himself within the grime music scene, collaborating with notable artists including Giggs and Wretch 32. His 2013 single "Soundbwoy" served as a significant breakthrough in his career. Additionally, he appeared on Clean Bandit's "Come Over" and gained further recognition through his collaboration with Divine on the hit track "Mirchi." In 2014, he received a nomination for a MOBO Award and continues to impact both the UK and international music landscapes with his unique blend of reggae and dancehall influences.
