Songhoy Blues is a blues punk outfit that utilizes the flavors of its home town of Timbuktu, Mali to make a distinctive brand of modern music. After being exiled to Bamako during the Mali unrest, the band harnessed the turbulent social landscape to craft fast-paced, blues-tinged rock and roll that will resonate with any anti-authoritative minds.
